Privacy Policy

Effective 7 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data TripzyGo (operated by TripzyGo Rovara Travels Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, India — "we", "us") collects when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to guests, creators, and anyone browsing TripzyGo.

1. Data we collect

Account data. Name, email address, and phone number when you create an account, sign in, or check out as a guest.

Booking data. The itinerary, slot, number of guests, and participant names/phone numbers you provide for a booking, plus the booking status and any special requests you add.

Payment data. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves. Payments are processed directly by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner, under their own privacy and security practices. We retain only the transaction reference, amount, and status Razorpay returns to us.

Creator application data. If you apply to host, we collect the details you submit in the Creator Program form — name, contact details, social handles, and the information you provide about your experience.

Usage data. We log page views, shop-link clicks, and checkout starts (including which creator link, if any, referred the visit) to run our referral-attribution system and to give creators visibility into their own shop's performance. This is tied to a session identifier, not to your identity, unless you're signed in.

Device data. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and approximate location, collected automatically for security and to keep the site working correctly.

2. Why we collect it

  • To create and manage your account, and to let you sign in securely.
  • To process bookings, payments, refunds, and send booking confirmations.
  • To review creator applications and manage approved creators' shops and payouts.
  • To attribute a booking to the creator who referred it, so referral rewards are paid correctly.
  • To give creators aggregate visibility into views and clicks on their own shop.
  • To respond to support requests and enforce our Terms.
  • To meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it's needed to run TripzyGo:

  • Razorpay, to process your payment. Razorpay receives what it needs to complete the transaction directly from you.
  • The creator you book with, who receives your name, participant details, and booking specifics needed to host your session.
  • Supabase and other infrastructure providers who host our database and authentication, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Email delivery providers, to send booking confirmations and account emails.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where we're legally required to.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, to meet accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. Usage/attribution data tied to a session (not an account) is retained for a shorter, rolling window sufficient to resolve referral attribution.

5. Your choices

  • You can review and update your account details at any time while signed in.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by contacting us below — we'll action this except where we're required to retain records (for example, completed bookings needed for tax purposes).
  • You can ask what personal data we hold about you.
  • If you signed up with Google, you can revoke TripzyGo's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session during checkout, and a lightweight attribution cookie to credit a referring creator's link. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, access-controlled databases, and row-level security so that a creator can only ever see their own data — to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

8. Children

TripzyGo is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above.

10. Contact and grievance officer

For privacy questions, data requests, or grievances under applicable Indian law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), contact us at info@tripzygo.in or +91 74940 09400. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
